Summary:
The Quality Operations Technician is responsible for performing thorough documentation review using internal procedures and controls, maintaining organization of a paper-based filing system, identifying any exceptions from approved procedures, supporting routine disposition of DHS source material through preparation of related paperwork and creation of COAs, executing material holds, and supporting daily operations pertaining to the Hold Program and Donor Program.
Responsibilities:
Support daily operations activities:
Issue logbooks for use by Quality Operations
Execute material holds
Support department leads and specialists in monitoring of donor-related activities
Identify deviations from procedures
Maintain organization of paper-based filing system for DHS source material and donor-related paperwork
Perform thorough documentation review using internal procedure and controls, including:
Support routine disposition of DHS source material
Support other Quality Operations activities as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with 1 or more years in the pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical industry. Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience requirements.
Preferred previous experience in a Quality role with general understanding of manufacturing processes (preferred).
Working knowledge of cGMPs.
Preferred working knowledge of quality regulations including 21 CFR 210, 211, 600 & 610.
Good oral and written skills, ability to function effectively in a team, and manage time efficiently.
