Business Process Analyst

About the Role

Quest Partners is seeking a talented Business Process Analyst who can lead the successful execution of various internal projects. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and collaborative individual with a strong background in Jira, business analysis, project management, and team leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including user stories, sprint plans, and project schedules.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the project team.
  • Institute regular process audits to ensure quality control and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and product owners
  • Collaborate closely with product owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and ensure project alignment with expectations.
• Risk Management
  • Highlight escalation points, trouble spots, identify causes, and potential solutions.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Reporting and Metrics
  • Create and maintain project dashboards and reports in Jira to track project performance and key metrics.
  • Present project updates and status reports to stakeholders and leadership.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, engineering, etc.)
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks and tools (e.g. Jira)
• Demonstrate a commonsense approach to problem-solving.
• Experience and track record of management and timely execution of projects.
• Self-motivated, driven and ability with complete tasks / initiatives end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaborative and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Desired – Agile or Project Management Certifications
