About the Role:


We are seeking an entrepreneurial business professional with strong program management experience and a passion for technology to build and maintain our ecosystem of strategic partners and developers. This role will drive innovation by connecting advanced AI capabilities into the Poe platform and encouraging development of new applications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a growth mindset and high technical aptitude.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain relationships with AI partners, establishing communication channels to stay in sync on new model launches, upgrades, and provide end-user feedback
  • Collaborate with the Creator product team and Product Marketing to build and grow a thriving developer community on Poe
  • Research, identify, and evaluate potential new AI ecosystem partners
  • Set strategic objectives, operational SLAs, and commercial arrangements for new partnerships in collaboration with internal teams from product, marketing, legal, and finance
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the Poe product team to continuously improve partner onboarding processes and ensure real-time two-way feedback
  • Set up feedback channels from developers to inform the Poe Creators’ product roadmap
  • Develop a dashboard to monitor the health and performance of our AI ecosystem
  • Understand market dynamics, business development, and manage client relationships
  • Oversee the technical and operational aspects of partner onboarding, including contract negotiations and co-marketing activities


Minimum Skills and Qualifications:


  • Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Standard Time). Learn why here
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or business
  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales, account management, or business development in a technology company or strategy consulting firm with experience in the technology sector
  • Strong program/project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate, inside and outside the company
  • Strong verbal and written communications


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in vendor/partnership management and negotiations
  • Experience managing relationships with developers
  • Experience at a company developing an AI product

There are many factors that will determine the starting pay, including but not limited to experience, location, education, and business needs.

  • US candidates only: For US based applicants, the salary range is $100,000 - $169,800 USD + equity + benefits.
  • Canada candidates only: For Canada based applicants, the salary range is $101,545 - $172,424 CAD + equity + benefits.
