About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between complex data and strategic decision-making throughout the organization. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, your insights will drive enhancements in our marketing strategies, product development, client service performance and contact center optimization. Additionally, your analytical skills will play a critical role in shaping the trajectory of our Machine Learning projects, ensuring our algorithms are firmly rooted in strong, data-centric methodologies. You'll do more than merely generate reports in this role; you'll be intricately engaged in the interpretation of data and strategizing closely with C-Level executives to make critical decisions across various facets of the business.
Location
This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model, allowing you to work remotely or from our offices located in Portsmouth, UK, and Boca Raton, FL. If located from the U.S, you will need to be available for the core working hours of 8-4 EST to ensure a strong cross-over with our UK and IL team. The role also includes occasional international travel.
A Day in the Life
As a Senior Data Analyst at Quote Velocity, you will become the owner of our organization's Data & Analytics strategy. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Crafting, refining, and managing visualization tools and reporting workflows, ensuring clear and impactful communication of data insights to stakeholders across departments.
Conducting comprehensive analysis of diverse data sets, encompassing customer behaviors, market trends, and operational metrics, using advanced analytical tools and techniques to inform strategic decisions in marketing, product development, client management, and broader business initiatives.
Participating in cross-functional team discussions, collaborating closely with Marketing, Product, Business Development, Engineering, and Machine Learning to promote a unified approach to problem-solving and decision-making based on solid data insights.
Engaging directly with external insurance clients, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize customer acquisition campaigns and drive client success.
Analyzing complex data sets to uncover and articulate insights to stakeholders to support data-informative marketing, product, client, and business decisions.
Providing key analytical support in the planning and evaluation of Machine Learning models, contributing to the development of predictive models and data-driven solutions.
Leading the development and execution of data strategies, setting analytics goals, and exploring new data opportunities to drive business growth.
Collaborate closely with C-Level executives as the 'eyes in the sky' operator, supporting strategic decisions that are all supported by data-centric methodologies.
Who You Are
You are a SENIOR Level Data Analyst or Scientist with a minimum of 4 years of practical experience in Marketing, Product, Customer or Business Analytics.
You are confident at interpreting complex data and adeptly communicating insights to executives, bolstering decision-making in high-stakes scenarios.
You are outstanding at Mathematics and Statistics.
You are proficient in SQL, Python, Excel, and the utilization of BI visualization tools.
You possess experience in working with relational databases and have a broad familiarity with different database systems.
You have excellent communication skills and can articulate and document complex statistical language for stakeholders throughout the business.
You have a wholesome approach to Business Intelligence and a clear interest in the business challenge, the product, the solution, and the outcome.
