Additionally, they are responsible for a personal subcategory within a large category.The Assistant Merchant must partner with many areas, so they must have excellent follow-through. Ballard Designs is part of the Cornerstone brands - four interactive, aspirational home and apparel lifestyle brands that deliver inspirations that help customers enjoy, enhance, and celebrate life.• You will report to our Senior MerchantYour Impact• Assist merchant and design team to create products based on categories product seasonality and trends.• Create product development sheets for our Merchandising team that are succinct, easy to understand across many languages, and have all the details entered.• Gather, maintain, and re-distribute all Product Specification sheets for each merchant.• Order, track, and organize all new samples for photography.• Maintain offer assortment electronically in Forecast 21• Accuracy of product color and copy including description, sizes, and finishes in print and e-commerce• Maintain and flow new Vendor Set up formsWhat You Bring• College degree required.• Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)• Computer knowledge: Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams• 2 yrs. relevant work experience.Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.#LI-AW1#LI-HybridIt is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
