R20084 Temp Sr Mgr, Change Management & Comms

Pay: Min $80 - Max $93

It is an exciting time to join the Global Development Project Management Office! As part of our PMO, the Change Management practice is looking for a temporary Change and Communications lead to join our team to lead the Change Management and Communications efforts for various programs and projects. The Change & Communications Lead will develop Change Management and Communication strategies and plans, coach leaders, develop content to support initiatives, identify and mitigate risks and resistance, and measure progress and success. This is both a high-level strategy and a roll-up-your-sleeve, boots-on-the-ground role.


Change Management:

  • Develop and maintain a holistic and integrated strategy for change across assigned initiatives
  • Identify and assess internal and external stakeholders and measure their level of overall impact, and identify specific changes that impact identified stakeholders
  • Measure the change readiness throughout the life of initiatives
  • Develop & implement change plans and mitigate resistance and issues.
  • Identify/communicate “lessons learned” outcomes, including early wins and best practices.
  • Acts as a strategic partner in helping to structure change, communication, and input into training plans as appropriate
  • Acts as a coach for leaders and helps them understand and adopt their role in being Change Sponsors and leaders
  • Proactively identify change risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of the change management activities and deliverables
  • Utilize established methods, tools, and processes for Change Management and Project Management and collaborate with PMO team members


Communication:

  • Develop communication strategies and plans that address key stakeholder needs and provide ongoing communication for implementation (i.e., key messages, channels, owners).
  • Co-create content to provide the program visibility and the appropriate buy-in program (omnichannel)
  • Connect the dots to bring together all communication channels to create integrated plans. quickly grasp and translate complex messages into simple narratives
  • Develop key messaging to support the overall experience with input from the business and other key stakeholders
  • Continuously assess communication effectiveness and iterate as needed
  • Support the development of Communications best practices

  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentations skills
  • Experience in leading Change Management initiatives at the enterprise-wide or functional level
  • Proven competency in communications planning
  • Ability to take a varied and thoughtful approach for different audiences.
  • Knowledge and experience with the various formats, functionality, and channels of internal communications: intranets, mobile communications, storytelling and content creation, videos and podcasts, and enterprise social media.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational change management and project management skills as well as meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to seek and value input.
  • High level of professionalism and confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers, research scientists, and the general employee population.
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced environment requiring daily flexibility and continuous multi-tasking
  • Ability to operate with a keen sense of urgency and a results-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
