To realize our vision, we need a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to help lead the development and scaling of this cutting-edge product.

What you'll be doing:

• Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions for our Reporting product

• Work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, customer success etc. to ensure the successful delivery of features and improvements

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

• Maintain high standards of code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices

• Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying opportunities for improvements and proposing new features that align with business goals

• Address complex technical challenges and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and performance of the Reporting product

• Create and maintain detailed documentation to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Reporting product

• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance that have impact across your team

Who we're looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• A minimum of 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Experience in the healthcare or AI domain is a plus

• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. Strong experience with microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Expertise in working with large datasets, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and data processing frameworks

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to tackling challenges

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with PostgreSQL

• Experience with 3rd-party integrations such as Auth0, Amplitude

• Experience working at an early-stage startup

• Experience in a HIPAA-compliant environment, especially with FHIR and HL7

• Experience working on machine learning
