To realize our vision, we need a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to help lead the development and scaling of this cutting-edge product.
What you'll be doing:
Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions for our Reporting product
Work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, customer success etc. to ensure the successful delivery of features and improvements
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Maintain high standards of code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices
Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying opportunities for improvements and proposing new features that align with business goals
Address complex technical challenges and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and performance of the Reporting product
Create and maintain detailed documentation to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Reporting product
Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance that have impact across your team
Who we're looking for:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Experience in the healthcare or AI domain is a plus
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. Strong experience with microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Expertise in working with large datasets, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and data processing frameworks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to tackling challenges
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Nice to Haves:
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with 3rd-party integrations such as Auth0, Amplitude
Experience working at an early-stage startup
Experience in a HIPAA-compliant environment, especially with FHIR and HL7
Experience working on machine learning
