PMIC Principal Applications Engineering

Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Principal PMIC Validation/Application Engineering to join our Memory Interface team in Korea. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a Principal PMIC Validation/Application Engineering, the candidate will be reporting to Sr. Manager of Validation and is a Full-Time position. The engineer will work on developing a validation environment across bench/ATE and system performance specification compliance using our PMIC designs. The engineer will require experience in validation/characterization of the Power Management Devices (PMIC) with processor-memory interfaces, and protocols, as well as, power efficiency and integrity concepts.

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Lab bring-up and validation of PMIC.
  • Developing a validation environment across bench/ATE and system performance specification compliance using our PMIC products.
  • Support customers in understanding and resolving their issues.
  • Work with design engineers, and marketing to define memory power solutions.
  • Provide post silicon bring-up support, interface with design, operation, and development. 

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of hand-on experience in PMIC application and validation.
