Technical Writer
Raye IT Consulting is looking for a dynamic Technical Writer to join our team, providing communications support to a government client in the Washington, D.C. area.
Skills
- Strong technical writing/editing skills
- Excellent writing and content creation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite
- Knowledge of Information Technology and change management
Responsibilities
- Create and update documents for Senior Executive review
- IT Security policies and processes technical writing
- Maintain data records file repositories via SharePoint
- Review and create technical documentation
- Ensure 508-compliant documentation
- Develop and maintain project-level communications processes
- Enhance current communications strategies
- Maintain branding and style guidelines
- Identify trends throughout the communications lifecycle
- Research information and respond to ad-hoc data calls
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject (English, communications, technical editing, writing, or similar)
