If you want to end every day knowing that you helped deliver a book into the hands of readers across America, let’s talk.  We are currently recruiting for a Supply Planner I for our Oak Brook, IL office.

The Supply Planner I will create, manage and maintain purchase orders and inventory across all Readerlink distribution centers.

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Create, maintain and track purchase orders across all publishers and Readerlink distribution centers to ensure on-time and accurate delivery.
  • Review and resolve quarantine inventory.
  • Enter and maintain items into F&O.
  • Communication of all product discrepancies between Supply Planning, Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Help build and maintain long-term relationships with our publishers, and licensors.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work extra hours to keep projects on schedule.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.
  • Previous buying or inventory experience desired is preferred.
  • Experience with working with the F&O system is preferred.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
  • High energy level with the ability to keep multiple projects on schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to speak to all levels of the organization and to customers.
  • Must have excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to maintain an inventory plan and forecast inventory needs based on current sales trends.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • No travel required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • The work performed is in an office environment. 
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels. 

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00
