Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The position is responsible for supporting the recruitment efforts of a nationally ranked FullTime MBA, Flex MBA, EMBA and 8 Business Master’s programs. This includes but is not limited to prospective candidate outreach via email, phone, text messaging, and various platforms. The position will assist with recruiting and yield events, prospective candidate interviews, consultations, presentations and website updates, and various recruiting tasks. This position will also liaison between the MBA/MS Admissions Office, and other departments such as the Master’s Programs Office and the Office of Career Services. This position will primarily be responsible for the initial outreach to prospects for all mentioned programs and will help prospective students move through the admissions pipeline.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
1-3 customer service experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven ability to effectively use time, plan, and coordinate multiple projects.
- Highly developed organizational and computer skills, with strict attention to detail.
- Friendly, flexible, service-oriented manner, and sound judgment.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with external candidates, faculty, corporate clients, executives, and staff.
- Proven ability to respond positively to extreme pressures of time and workload.
- Proven ability in oral and written communications.
- Ability to work in a highly independent manner at times across functions within the school.
- Willingness and ability to make calls to potential candidates.
Other:
- This position requires the ability to work evenings and weekends for special events.
- This position requires an incumbent to possess and maintain a Class C Driver’s License or equivalent valid in the State of Maryland with fewer than six (6) points.
