Recruiting Operations Manager

We're looking for a Recruiting Operations Manager to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Here's what you need to know about the role, our team and why Flatiron Health is the right next step in your career.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll lead collaborative efforts to analyze, optimize and harmonize our Talent Acquisition Operations; processes, workflows, software tooling, reporting, communications and SLAs.

Reporting to the VP, Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you'll conceptualize solutions, recommend and lead programs aimed at implementing, streamlining and automating hiring operations to remove friction, increase efficacy and accelerate employee growth on a global scale.

In addition, you'll also be responsible for:

  • Optimization of bread-and-butter recruiting processes and tools (e.g., scheduling workflows, job postings, stage transitions, offer workflow, etc.), including ideation of improvements to be made and execution and/or implementation of those improvements.
  • Acting as a “Change Agent” to implement new processes where/when needed (making relevant tradeoffs between structure, efficiency, data integrity, etc.)
  • Authoring and publishing “Change Communications” company wide.
  • Project Management (and, in some/many cases, execution) of recruiting/company wide training initiatives and projects (e.g., Greenhouse training for interviewers, curation of interview training content, etc.)
  • Liaising on behalf of Talent Acquisition and partnering with our Head of People Analytics to provide essential recruitment data reporting and analytics.
  • Identifying, optimizing and monitoring data capture channels and best practices to ensure compliant, clean and consistently reportable data to track key success metrics for external stakeholders and Talent Acquisition team consumption.
  • Recruiting Systems Management; overseeing our team’s “tech stack” (i.e., acting as admin for Greenhouse, Workday and most/all TA systems) and all processes embedded throughout.
  • Occasional chief-of-staff responsibilities to support the VP of Talent Acquisition on initiatives like team training, stakeholder presentations, budget and workforce planning, etc.
  • Partnering with various People teams to manage/streamline processes related to core HR tasks like offer approvals, headcount management, internal mobility, onboarding, employer branding, etc.
  • Partnering with the DEI team to ensure DEI best practices are embedded in Recruiting processes across the board.

In this role you will have multiple opportunities to work with various cross-functional teams company wide. As you drive programs and interface with various leaders, you will learn how to effectively champion and influence transformative change at Flatiron.

Who You Are

You're an operationally minded Talent Acquisition professional with experience optimizing Talent Acquisition operations. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact.

  • You have 3 years of experience with hands-on leadership of Talent Acquisition Operations Management.
  • You have 2 years of experience with senior-level stakeholder management.
  • You have 2 years of experience evaluating, implementing and/or integrating various Talent Acquisition software tools with various HRIS systems.
  • You have 1-2 years of experience creating data visualizations with Business Intelligence Reporting software like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • You have 2 years of experience managing organizational change and drafting team communications.
  • You have 2 years of experience with Workflow Analysis and drafting of detailed functional specifications, operational documents, and road maps.
  • You have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Project Management and Business Workflow mapping software.

If this sounds like you, you'll fit right in at Flatiron.

Extra Credit

  • You have been a Recruiter or Recruiting Manager in a previous role
