The Opportunity:​

Datadog is ramping up for another big hiring year and expanding our Recruiting team to support our growth. Currently, we are looking for a Recruiting Sourcer to play a key role in the continued growth and success of Datadog by finding exceptional talent for our teams across North America. The Recruiting Sourcer will partner closely with Recruiters to develop creative and tailored strategies to engage passive candidates. You will be the first point of contact for new candidates in the hiring process, playing a critical role in identifying great candidates and telling the Datadog story. 

You Will:

  • Generate and maintain active and passive candidate pipeline using various sources such as: LinkedIn Recruiter, Eightfold, Sourcing Campaigns, Google X Ray searching, previous event attendee lists, etc.
  • Amplify and champion job openings internally and working with employee base to find hidden talent in their networks. 
  • Use your own research to get creative and think out of the box on where to find talent that otherwise might stay off the radar
  • Proactively diversify pipeline of candidates to ensure inclusivity and alignment with DEI goals 
  • Screen candidates to ensure their qualifications match requirements of open roles
  • Map out the talent market, keeping a pulse of talent flow, market attrition, and which companies employ the talent we’re after
  • Use market intel findings to adjust sourcing efforts in a way that is more targeted, strategic, and intentional
  • Ensure candidates have an excellent candidate experience regardless of outcome
  • Stay up to date with and be a superuser of internal resources, documentation, and tools 

You Are:

  • An individual with a high sense of urgency, strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Someone with 1+ years of experience working for a search firm or in-house recruiting team for high volume recruiting
  • Passionate about sourcing and engaging candidates through outbound prospecting efforts
  • Autonomous and able to work independently and simultaneously on multiple positions
  • Confident in your ability to hook passive prospects with best of breed opportunities 
  • Research-oriented and naturally curious about the job market
  • Willing to think outside the box and try new things in order to achieve results in an ever-changing environment

  • Experience in Eightfold, LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse as an Applicant Tracking System
