An overview of the Getting to Yes Michigan (G2YMI) study: This position is funded by a National Cancer Institute grant associated with Co-Principle Investigators: Erica E. Marsh M.D., and Ken Resnicow, Ph.D.
The study draws potential participants public and private events. Participants may not have received the bivalent COVID-19 vaccination, and/or no vaccinations. Recruitment began late January 2022. Enrollment will continue for 1 year.
Once enrolled, a participant completes a baseline survey. They receive weekly text messages requiring a single item response.
G2YMI Recruitment Staff position details:
New Recruitment Staff are required to attend mandatory trainings on Motivational Interviewing (4-hours) dependent on their background. All staff complete PEERRS (3-hours), Good Clinical Practices (4-hours), study protocol (1-hour) and G2YMI study portal training (1-hour).
This position is paid every other Friday. You will be paid $20/hour for up to 12 hours per week. This position is classified non-exempt according to the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is temporary; until the end of the intervention period.
G2YMI Recruitment Staff position details:
New Recruitment Staff are required to attend mandatory trainings, and update their availability to attend events into the study portal. In addition to recruitment events, Recruitment Staff will call potential event locations, and meet with a supervisor for 15-mins each week.
Job Responsibilities: Your supervisor in HBHE is Emerson Delacroix, LLP, RYT-200, MACP. You will work directly with them regarding your work schedule and timesheets, responsibilities like portal access and usage, and other expectations as assigned.
