Recurly is a leading subscription and revenue recognition management platform at the forefront of the booming “subscription economy”. We power subscriptions for clients like Paramount+, Blinkist, Soundcloud, SlingTV, CBS Interactive, and many more! We’re currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to continue our growth in the EMEA region. The Account Manager needs to  be a hunter who can identify and build relationships with prospects, take a consultative approach to selling and manage deals end-to-end.

Responsibilities
  • Driving new sales & expansion into the Recurly install base
  • Understanding how to expand into new lines of business by bringing the Recurly suite of solutions including Revenue Recognition, Lifecycle Management Engagement, App Management and future Recurly offerings
  • Managing renewals by reselling the value of Recurly to our existing customers
  • Lead pricing strategy and negotiations while working closely with Revenue Operations, Finance and Legal to ensure all contracts meet customer and Recurly requirements
  • Proactively notify Finance of past due accounts, contractual clauses that impact revenue recognition and provide proactive management of customer usage to drive expansion
  • Achieving and exceeding compensation plan goals by managing all aspects of the contract renewal and upsell process for an assigned set of merchants
  • Identifying  at risk merchants early in the renewal process and reselling the value of Recurly to prevent churn
  • Partner and collaborate with internal cross-functional counterparts such as Customer Success, Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Technical Support, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to drive successful outcomes for Recurly and our customers
  • Handling customer needs and requests outside of the responsibility of support for merchants not managed by Recurly Customer Success
  • Creating and managing renewal, upsell and Professional Services opportunities in SFDC  with accurate and timely updates
  • Provide renewal notification and accurate quotes 90 days in advance prior to contract end date


Requirements
  • Natural curiosity and the desire to win together with our customers
  • Minimum of 7 years of SaaS experience in renewals, sales, account management, customer success or equivalent customer facing role
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and fast paced environment with a positive outlook and professionalism
  • Team player who enjoys jumping in where needed with high energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity to learn
  • Someone who will own the outcome by being mindful about finding the balance between the customer centric approach and achieving your renewal and sales goals
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Experience with SFDC or similar CRM system preferred
  • Desire to never stop learning or growing
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience


Bonus Points
  • Additional languages e.g. German, Dutch, Hebrew, Swedish.
  • Subscription industry knowledge and deep vertical expertise
