The Red Hat Open Studio: Brand Experience team is looking for an experienced Marketing Account Manager to serve our core business by connecting product marketers, digital, and creative teams to bring the Red Hat brand vision to life through various media forms.
Account Managers add value to our team and business stakeholders by passionately and professionally representing our internal creative agency on a day-to-day basis. In this role, you are a trusted partner and the key point of contact to one of our core product’s marketing and business teams - collaborating with leadership, subject-matter experts, digital and creative teams, project managers, and external agencies to create compelling marketing material and unified customer experiences that align to strategy, and corporate and team goals.
As an Account Manager in a fast-paced creative environment, you are highly organized, accountable, and able to build relationships and collaborate with/pull from the expertise of the Brand Experience team’s resources and capabilities. You lead complex projects armed with your experience, marketing acumen, and proven ability to think and do.
What you will do:
Build and maintain a strong relationship with the product’s business and marketing teams that is one of trusted partner, based on proven track record of collaboration and delivery.
Own consistent communications with business stakeholders, digital and creative teams, and external vendors/agencies
Understand the strategic and business context we are operating in and use this knowledge to collaboratively find creative marketing solutions that address the business problem, and approach tasks in an effective manner
Manage client objectives and expectations and communicating any changes/directions to team members
Confidently lead conversations and problem solve as required
Facilitate the process of recommending and developing effective strategies that lead to great work and is seen as a champion for the work
Understand the team/cross-functional roles and respects each function in delivering great work and building relationships
What you will bring:
Experience working within a collaborative, cross-functional marketing/creative team
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with individuals in business leadership, marketing, creative and technical roles
Experience in client-facing environment/role and understanding of the dynamics and workings of a marketing/creative agency
Established sense of marketing acumen - a demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing, creative processes, and brand identity
Proven ability to work on a cross-functional team in a collaborative and transparent environment
Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment and to adjust their style and response accordingly
