Application Platform Solutions Architect

• Discover and analyze customers’ business and technical problems and connect these challenges to the appropriate Red Hat solutions
• Guide and assist customers with proofs of concepts, workshops, and seminars
• Attend enablement sessions conducted within and outside of Red Hat, including learning and evaluating emerging and current technologies to better assist customers and consider significant factors for customers like cost, portability, compatibility, or usability
• Develop and conduct live demonstrations and educate prospective customers on the capabilities of Red Hat’s solutions
• Discover the customer's current technical stack, for application Development, and suggest appropriate Red Hat products that will fit into the solution
• Evaluate customer's current technical challenges, and guide to appropriate Red Hat Solutions

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in the job offered or related role
• 5+ years of experience with JMS messaging and MQ
• 3+ years of experience with: Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE); and Spring Boot framework
• 2+ years of experience with: Red Hat Fuse and Apache Camel or similar technology; Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or other container platforms; and Build Automation tools
• Willingness to participate in up to 35% domestic travel required to client sites, conferences and internal meetings following Red Hat’s COVID-19 guidelines; travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.
