Senior Software Engineer - Ads Bidding & Pacing
Reddit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Ads Bidding and Pacing team. You will implement optimization systems and enhance existing systems for robust performance while collaborating across engineering, product, and marketing teams.
Skills
- Experience with ads marketplace systems
- Data ingestion and processing experience using Flink, Spark Streaming, Kinesis, Kafka
- Proficiency in Scala, Go, and Java
- Comfort with distributed systems and big data
Responsibilities
- Identify and close infrastructural and operational gaps in automated bidding products
- Build systems for data ingestion and processing at marketplace scale
- Collaborate with product/engineering teams to align system improvements with business vision
- Design rigorous A/B experiments for evaluating business impacts
- Write maintainable code and conduct analyses
Education
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferred
