The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed backend systems while demonstrating in-depth knowledge of cloud IAM technologies and application security.

Skills
In-depth knowledge of cloud IAM technologies
Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, preferably Go
Experience in designing solutions for reliability, availability, scalability, and performance on major cloud platforms
Strong understanding of application security, information security, authentication & authorization protocols
Responsibilities
Select, scope, and drive high leverage projects aligning with Reddit's goals
Execute on strategies for a more performant and scalable architecture around authentication and identity
Mentor and collaborate with technical contributors
Work with cross-functional teams across Reddit Engineering
Continuous learning and improvement of technical and non-technical abilities
