Staff Software Engineer, Identity & Access Management
Reddit is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join the Identity & Access Management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed backend systems while demonstrating in-depth knowledge of cloud IAM technologies and application security.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of cloud IAM technologies
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, preferably Go
- Experience in designing solutions for reliability, availability, scalability, and performance on major cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of application security, information security, authentication & authorization protocols
Responsibilities
- Select, scope, and drive high leverage projects aligning with Reddit's goals
- Execute on strategies for a more performant and scalable architecture around authentication and identity
- Mentor and collaborate with technical contributors
- Work with cross-functional teams across Reddit Engineering
- Continuous learning and improvement of technical and non-technical abilities
