Our Federal Sales Organization is collaborative, inclusive, and customer obsessed! Together we strive to provide Tektronix Military and Government accounts with high quality support and engagement. Our dynamic customer base designs and builds products that craft the future of high technology. We are looking for a highly motivated Regional Key Account Manager to join our team and support some our largest Mil/Gov accounts in the Bay Area. Partnering across the Federal Sales teams to stay informed on industry developments and own the formulation and delivery of solutions focused sales plans.

Responsibilities:
Develop a Large Strategic National Account / Territory Sales Plan that focuses on growth and share gains.

Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.

Profile and develop relationships with key executives at all levels.

Lead cross-functional teams across the country to drive our share gain strategy for NNSA Department of Energy accounts.

Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products.

Optimally use sales resources including applications engineers, channel partners & inside sales support.

Qualifications:
Proven track record in quota attainment selling capital equipment using a defined sales process.

Shown success in developing growth plans for large strategic accounts.

Familiarity with Electronic Test and Measurement solutions.

Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers).

Military/Federal Government functional knowledge or experience selling to Government directly.

Ability to travel 30% of the time within territory.

National: The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $156,800- $291,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
