Regional Manager, Office Operations

Datadog is in hyper-growth. The Operations Division runs many day-to-day operational functions that help keep our employees safe, happy and productive. We work closely with leadership and employees to ensure that Datadog continues to scale rapidly, yet smoothly, and remains a fantastic place to work.

Datadog is looking for a Regional Manager, Office Operations (OfficeOps). This position, based in New York City, will ensure all North American offices run efficiently and effectively and is vital to ensure proper scaling for the OfficeOps team.  You’ll help keep our managers on track to ensure Datadog remains a best-in-class workplace.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversight of all North American offices 
  • Motivate Managers to innovate and work smarter, not harder
  • Set up new offices and office expansions
  • Expert in best practices and innovation
  • Ensure that all offices are maintained to the highest standards
  • Complete regular budget audits
  • Partner with local stakeholders, IT & People (HR) to provide a superior employee experience
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with building management and other vendors
  • Travel to each office quarterly or more frequently as needed

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing staff in at least 5 remote offices
  • A true people person who can motivate and coach all levels of staff
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple and changing initiatives
  • Ability to think “outside the box” and bring creative and innovative solutions 
  • Have a passion for improving processes
  • Extensive experience in managing multiple locations and office sizes
  • Proven track-record of developing and empowering team members
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Great at adjusting message content and tone to your audience
  • Possess excellent prioritizing, time management and multitasking skills
  • Be even-tempered and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Have unending patience and thrive on getting things done
  • Be organized and have an acute attention to detail
