Treasury Assistant

Responsibilities:The Treasury Assistant role is responsible for day-to-day operations of the business. This role requires interaction with individuals at all levels within the company and with third party service providers. This individual will report to the Manager, Treasury Operations and will be based in our New York office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Process deposits for corporate entities• Opening of new accounts, which includes preparing bank compliance documentation• Closure of all accounts• Maintain account database in Treasury Workstation (Kyriba)• Wire Processing via bank portals• Daily confirmation of wires processed• Liaison between accounting and bank representatives for all research inquiries• Loading of bank statements to central warehouse (SharePoint)• NSF Reports (daily)• ACH Return Reports (daily)• Overdraft Reports (daily)• Overdraft Report Maintenance• Resolve balance discrepancies between bank and Treasury Workstation• Some administrative functions for Treasurer• Add HOC reportsRequired training for coverage purposes:• Decision Positive Pay Items• Stop Payments• Certified Check Requests• Related Fund Management Support and Wire Processing• ACH ID set up and maintenanceCompensation• $55,000 - $65,000 / year• Hourly position - eligible for overtime• Annual performance based bonusQualifications:• Bachelor degree required• CTP, a plus• Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in Treasury or relevant field• Experience with treasury workstations and systems such as Kyriba, JD Edwards, S & P Capital IQ, a plus• Proficiency in Excel• A mature professional with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills• Self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly• Strong familiarity with real estate• Superior organizational skillsRelated values diversity in backgrounds and experiences.
