Areas of Responsibility
1. Source new business through the analysis of client requirements, appropriate marketing efforts and the structuring and implementation of solutions.
2. Provide high-quality account administration for maintenance & enhancement of relationships with existing accounts.
3. Origination, structuring and end to end delivery of the trade finance solutions, including letters of credit, documentary collection, standby letters of credit/guarantees, export-import financing, supply chain financing, and other trade-related products and services.
4. Achieve established annual sales targets including revenue, trade asset book and acquisition of new trade finance accounts.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stake holders and business partners to generate incremental trade finance revenues and gain market share.
6. Maintain strong relationship based selling skills, client relationship management, and networking skills. Manage existing relationships with the corporate and commercial clients (both Canadian as well as India-linked clients) by providing continuous support on the existing portfolio
7. Exercise sound credit judgment to generate high-quality trade loans through sales focused strategy for both corporate risk and bank line business. Takes responsibility for a portfolio of loans or activities assigned from time to time
8. Conduct market analysis and implement new products & programs to effectively develop and acquire new trade finance business.
9. Working with various internal departments and ensure customer enquiries, concerns and complaints are timely resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
10. Ensure high service standards are maintained, including meeting expected turnaround times.
11. Adhering to regulatory and internal Bank requirements including anti-money laundering/anti-terrorist financing and compliance criteria, while being cognizant of local regulatory parameters.
12. Protect the stakeholders’ interests by making independent assessments of risks by a thorough analysis of the credit strength of the companies
13. Manage organic growth, client retention and improve risk profile and profitability of ICICI Bank Canada’s portfolio of cross-border accounts
14. Evaluate and prepare credit proposals, carry-out due-diligence and present to the relevant committees for approval including Credit Risk Officer and Management Credit Committee / Risk Committee
15. Contribute to the marketing strategy of the bank, presentations and other communications to reach target market constituents
16. Monitoring competitor activities, market conditions and report relevant developments to the Bank’s Executives and Chief Risk Officer
17. Cross-selling other products of the Bank to the corporate clients to ensure 3600 banking as per the requirements of the Bank
