The Quality Reliability Engineer is responsible for supporting engineers and development activities of new products by defining test plans, issuing reliability documentation, and performing test, and checkout of electronic, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems, experimental circuitry, prototype models and specialized test equipment. They follow reliability topics related to new product development, component validation and failures from the field.
Key accountabilities and Key deliverables
- Ensures compliance and industry standards are embedded into Product Specifications; design and set/plan of tests to verify the implementation of embedding). Main deliverables test plans at Alpha stage
- Attend regular Core Team Meetings and Technical Meetings (when necessary) to cooperate in new FRS products development
- Ensures that potential quality issues are properly discussed and solved during NPD processes. Main deliverables quality NPD presentation deck and quality KPI’s reporting
- Issue DVT/MVT test plans in cooperation with the lab technician to support FRS new products development
- Defines and executes the set of tests and quality procedures for components in order to avoid reworking or roadmap blocks
- Bring improvements to Test Plans or FRS product standard according to lesson learnt
- Performs Field Failures investigations and analysis for malfunctioning to provide valuable feedback to R&D/Engineering/Production teams/other Quality pillars
- Carry out ECO (Engineering Change Order) review for FRS
- Attend and manage Problem Communication Meetings as Reliability representative
- Execute Product Inspections according to internal standard procedures
- Support lab maintenance together with the lab technician when needed
- Act on demand as back-up on Quality various activities: Incoming Inspections, Internal Audits, External audits
Education (School/Specialization) Degree level training in technical field. Engineering university degree is preferred.

Years of Experience Experience in Product Quality or R&D as technical for technological products. Minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
A past experience in the use of test equipment for environmental tests (climatic, mechanics) and EMC is preferable
- Knowledge and/or experience with applicable standards and test methodology
- Knowledge and/or experience with laboratory instrumentation for carrying out tests
- Knowledge of Electronics and/or Mechanics topics
- Capability to work in a team
- Capability to work under pressure and take responsibility on activities/projects
- High decision-making skills
- Able to travel on national and international business trips (occasional)
