Your Responsibilities
As an Inventory Analyst for John Deere Parts Distribution located in Denver, CO, you will coordinate, analyze, and process daily, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual inventory audits. In addition, you will:
Develop and participate in inventory related continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.- Manage warehouse backorder investigations.
- Provide root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare and review various inventory reports, such as part discrepancy and double stores.
- Fill in for Coordinator during Vacations.
- Work occasional FLASH + Saturdays and Holidays/Shutdown in rotation with Supervisor and Coordinator.
- Rotate with the Supervisor and Coordinator to carry the On-Call Cell Phone for afterhours FLASH + Service to customers.
- Drive a forklift as needed.
- Standard shift time is 8:00am to 4:30pm, hours vary depending on coverage.

What Skills You Need
Experience with analyzing and auditing inventory (or equivalent).- 1 or more years of experience using Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage working in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills including a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.
- Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.
- Available to be on call in rotation for afterhours FLASH + service to customers.
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays and Holidays in rotation.
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with John Deere Parts Distribution Systems such as DNS, WCS, APS, JDPoint, etc.- 1 or more years of experience working in one or more operations’ support functions such as warehouse, logistics, inventory control, etc.
- Knowledge of parts distribution warehouse systems and terminology.
- Experience within a union environment.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
High school diploma/GED or related work experience.
