Your Responsibilities


As an Inventory Analyst for John Deere Parts Distribution located in Denver, CO, you will coordinate, analyze, and process daily, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual inventory audits. In addition, you will:


  • Develop and participate in inventory related continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.
  • Manage warehouse backorder investigations.
  • Provide root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review various inventory reports, such as part discrepancy and double stores.
  • Fill in for Coordinator during Vacations.
  • Work occasional FLASH + Saturdays and Holidays/Shutdown in rotation with Supervisor and Coordinator.
  • Rotate with the Supervisor and Coordinator to carry the On-Call Cell Phone for afterhours FLASH + Service to customers.
  • Drive a forklift as needed.
  • Standard shift time is 8:00am to 4:30pm, hours vary depending on coverage.

What Skills You Need


  • Experience with analyzing and auditing inventory (or equivalent).
  • 1 or more years of experience using Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage working in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills including a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.
  • Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.
  • Available to be on call in rotation for afterhours FLASH + service to customers.
  • Ability to work occasional Saturdays and Holidays in rotation.

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Experience with John Deere Parts Distribution Systems such as DNS, WCS, APS, JDPoint, etc.
  • 1 or more years of experience working in one or more operations’ support functions such as warehouse, logistics, inventory control, etc.
  • Knowledge of parts distribution warehouse systems and terminology.
  • Experience within a union environment.
  • Ability to drive a forklift.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience.

Education


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • High school diploma/GED or related work experience.
