Job Summary


SABIC is looking for talented candidates to join the Customer Service Operations group in Houston. The candidate will engage with SABIC Agri-Nutrients customers, SABIC Agri-Nutrients online/offline affiliates, Ports, SABIC functional groups, external stakeholders and other Logistics Service Providers.


How You Can Be the Impact:

Essential activities include

  • Timely communication to customers regarding order delivery confirmations, supply disruptions, complaints or concerns.

  • The candidate will work hand-in-hand with the Demand Planner to insure successful execution of shipments from SABIC Agri-Nutrients online/offline affiliates to customers or other SABIC plants. This will include ensuring all order issues are resolved, securing appropriate transportation (truck, container, or bulk vessel) working logistics service providers, providing necessary documents per local domestic transportation requirements, arrange diversions and perform daily tracking of shipments to ensure timely delivery.

  • Other responsibilities include reviewing, approving and submitting vendor invoices for processing in a timely manner. processing of customer invoices, providing documentation related to shipments, and providing customer's account statment.

  • Maintain a higher level of customer’s satisfaction by performing delivery, communication, documentation as per customer’s requests. Awareness of global country requirements of customs and methods of delivery.


What Matters to SABIC

  • Supply Chain Bachelor Degree, Industrial Engineering Bachelor degree or equivalent.

  • APICS, Six Sigma greenbelt or blackbelt a plus

  • 1 year of experience in Customer relation and SAP ERP process

  • Knowledge of Bulk Vessel, container and truck logistics operations.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills - Languages native or fluent (English, Portuguese and or Spanish)

Work Availability
