Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Analyst.
The Department of Population Health at NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Research Analyst to support the City Health Dashboard (CHDB) and Congressional District Health Dashboard (CDHD). The Dashboards are interactive data and mapping websites developed by NYULH to help city, state and federal policymakers leverage the power of data to improve health and well-being, along with advocates, researchers, and the public. This position will support our efforts to drive policy change at all levels, and responsibilities will include research on policies, programs and best practices for using data to improve health and the social drivers of health, research translation, writing projects, some data analysis and interpretation, and other project related administrative tasks. You will work closely with other project staff to further the goals of the Dashboard program.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a A bachelors degree and 3-4 years experience in policy research related to public health, public administration,
or allied health.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong time-management and prioritization skills; ability to work well under pressure and in teams
Experience in public health, public administration, or policy research.
Demonstrated understanding of equity in policy implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
A masters degree and experience in policy research related to public health, public administration, or allied health.
Experience writing or implementing local policies and programs related to health, poverty, or social/environmental conditions.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $63,935.04 - $72,800.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
