Position Purpose
The Goods Lab is looking to hire a talented postdoctoral researcher interested in building bioinformatics frameworks for non-hormonal contraceptive discovery to support ongoing large-scale discovery efforts. The Goods Lab is located at Dartmouth College in the new Engineering and Computer Science Center in Hanover, NH. We are a diverse lab, comprised of biologists and engineers, with an interest in improving our understanding of reproductive health and immunology.
We are specifically looking for persons with a background in data science, computational biology, bioinformatics, and/or engineering to develop novel tools for mining and integrating multiple ‘omics datasets for non-hormonal contraceptive discovery. Computational experience is required for this position. This work will provide the opportunity to work with a close team of collaborators comprised of biologists, reproductive health experts, and drug discovery experts. Compensation for this position is competitive and above the national average, and we offer relocation assistance. Applicants should have a PhD or plan to finish their PhD in engineering or bioengineering, bioinformatics, data science, computational biology or a related field.
