This Research Internship within the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics provides a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary group involving collaborators from the College of Medicine and College of Public Health. Our clinical research revolves around dietary patterns and dietary and self-care interventions in the setting of multiple sclerosis. This position will provide opportunities to work with research subjects, and healthcare professionals while also building qualitative, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills.
Under the direction of the investigators, you will be involved with carrying out research protocols, research participant recruitment, interviewing, education and scheduling, database entry/management, medical record review/documentation, and completing a wide range of activities to fulfill the needs of research studies.

Bachelor’s Degree
Highly-motivated, interest in medical research, attention to detail and dependable. Expertise in Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills, clinical research experience, scheduling experience, self-motivated.
