Resilience Lab is modernizing how clinicians work together towards our mission: improving access to high-quality mental health care. Our diverse and collaborative team of over 200 remotely-based therapists offers virtual therapy services while enjoying flexible schedules. We provide billing and administrative support, so our clinicians can focus more on their clients. Our clinically-led Institute provides a complimentary lifelong learning curriculum. We are expanding nationally and looking for compassionate clinicians to join our team.


Reports to: Director of Supervision

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Location: In-person only as required by applicable laws. LCSW or LPC in New Jersey required


The Role:

The Principal Clinician Supervisor will be a fully-licensed Clinician who supervises up to five Associate Clinicians pursuing their independent license, with the option to also see clients through Resilience Lab as well. It is an opportunity for you to coach and mentor Associate Clinicians developing in their career, and to build your clinical practice with clients as well. The Principal Clinician role will also be a fully flexible role. You’ll need approximately six hours per week to supervise up to 5 clinicians and conduct other administrative tasks. You can align on your supervision schedule with your supervisees – there is no fixed schedule. You also have flexibility to see as few or as many clients through us as you wish.  This is also a non-exclusive role, so you can also do meaningful therapy work outside of RL. 


This is a unique opportunity for clinicians with at least 3-5 years practicing in private practice or agency leadership settings to lead in a supervisory role. If you are:

Responsibilities:

- Supervise a pod of up to 5 Associate Clinicians, including related administrative work such as mandatory meetings, interviewing supervisees, hours tracking etc.

- Maintain and apply a current understanding of your state’s supervision requirements

- (Optional) Work with clients through therapy sessions 

- Undergo peer supervision with other Principal Clinicians in order to grow, reflect on clinicians under supervision, and to discuss and work through challenges

- Keep abreast of developments in theory and research


Psychotherapist skills & requirements:

- Graduation from an accredited Masters program

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to ongoing self-careEntrepreneurial spirit

- Independently licensed

- Eligible to supervise in your state

- Access to reliable computer and internet connection, and private space, for conducting supervision and/or client sessions

- Able to host supervisees in person for supervision, in states with in-person supervision requirements


Compensation and Benefits

- $100 per unit (a unit may be 1-hour of supervision, or a 60-minute therapy session)

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance for those who decide to work Full-Time (100 units per month, for three consecutive months at a minimum)
