About The Role

The Scrum Master acts as a link between product owners and software development teams. He/she helps refine project timelines and process wherever necessary, leading high-quality products to get delivered. Scrum Master helps software development teams apply Agile framework, plan deliverables, monitor delivery performance and resolve issues that hinder team’s work. 

This position is based in Pune and reports to “Senior Program Manager” for Resilinc’s India Center of Excellence.

• Manage project’s scope and timeline
• Coordinate planning meetings, retrospective meetings, demos and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Highlight issues that hinder team’s work
• Manage Agile delivery using Jira and ensure overall Jira hygiene is followed
• Capture and track Agile related metrics (Velocity, Burndown etc.) using Jira
• Support multiple development teams in Scrum Master role

• 2+ years of experience in a scrum master role
• Overall experience of 10 to 12 years
• Person who has gone through at-least one Agile transformation and is aware of challenges faced and how to overcome those.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes)

• Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Prior experience as Project Manager is a plus
