We are seeking a seasoned strategic consultant with expertise in the translational medicine sector to lead a targeted intervention and assist in the preparation of a strategic workshop for a leading research organization. The focus will be to refine its business model and value proposition, particularly regarding pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with the competitive landscape in translational medicine.

Context:

The organization operates a Translational Medicine Operations Hub (TMOH) that consolidates operational units and collaborative platforms to streamline workflows, enhance accessibility, and improve project oversight. This hub supports both institutional research and external collaborations with public and private partners, striving for operational excellence in research execution, regulatory guidance, and innovation. Its mission includes providing high-quality biological and clinical data, fostering seamless collaboration, and ensuring continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

Partner with internal stakeholders to design and facilitate a 2-hour strategic workshop for senior leadership, focusing on redefining the pricing model and enhancing the organization’s value proposition for public and private clients.
Utilize recognized strategic tools (e.g., Value Proposition Canvas) to shape discussions and identify actionable opportunities for aligning offerings with market needs.
Offer expert insights based on benchmarking analysis to guide improvements in business model design and pricing competitiveness.
Contribute to strategic planning to support the delivery of the organization’s overarching mission of operational and organizational excellence in translational medicine.

Immediate availability for a mid-December intervention and workshop.
Deep familiarity with the translational medicine industry, including operational models and key sector challenges.
Demonstrated success in designing and facilitating strategic workshops that address mission, vision, value proposition, business models, and market competitiveness.
Experience with benchmarking institutions in related fields to identify strategic opportunities.
