Retirement Enrollment Specialist (Central/East)

As a member of the Revenue team you will support the setup and launch of our new clients' 401(k) plans here at Human Interest! You'll be working closely with the Customer Onboarding Specialists and serve as the face of Human Interest to our new clients, hosting live online enrollment meetings for a wide variety of companies (anything from the local plumber to the nationwide robotics firm), teaching them the benefits of their new 401(k) plan and driving increases in participation rates. Process-driven and people-focused - you are organized, friendly and flexible.

What you get to do every day

  • Work closely with Customer Onboarding Specialists to host 401(k) enrollment meetings for both startup and conversion plans to the Human Interest platform
  • Prepare client-specific slide decks to cover the plan's features as well as the basics of 401(k) saving and investing, including tax benefits
  • Prepare enrollment education portals to share enrollment materials with plan admins and employees
  • Communicate directly with clients to schedule and host enrollment meetings
  • Work cross-functionally within our organization (specifically with customer onboarding, sales, and account management) to make sure customer needs are met
  • Drive processes forward, managing internal and external stakeholders to keep our customers engaged, happy, and on-track
  • Identify potential areas for process improvement to help the team scale

What you bring to the role

  • 3+ years of experience in in customer-facing role in the financial or retirement industry preferred- i.e. account management, onboarding, sales
  • Experience creating content, hosting webinars, and presenting training materials
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, are able juggle multiple tasks with varying deadlines and stakeholders without dropping the ball
  • A strong work ethic, proactively following up with internal and external stakeholders and keeping them on track
  • Meticulous attention to detail - rarely making typos and noticing discrepancies that others would miss
  • A "people person" who truly enjoys interacting with people and can communicate difficult concepts fluidly
  • A passion for process; constantly on the lookout for inefficiencies that can be improved
  • A self-starting attitude and desire for learning new programs, systems, and widening your knowledge base about the retirement industry and our product
  • Available to work Mountain or Eastern hours
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Business Spanish - reading, writing and speaking is a plus!

Compensation - The salary range for this role is between $80,000 - $87,000. This information reflects a salary range for this position based on current market data, and may vary by location. Exact compensation will be determined by the candidates' skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
