Security Engineer

Retool is looking for a Security Engineer to enhance the security, privacy, and impact of their products. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, proficiency in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and a dedication to facilitating productivity through secure architectural solutions.

Skills

5+ years of experience in security engineering
Proficiency in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, Docker, and web security
Proven track record in security architecture and building secure-by-design systems
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and champion security initiatives

Responsibilities

Work with the engineering organization on new security projects and initiatives
Develop technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities
Perform technical security assessments, code audits, and design reviews
Identify and remediate attack vectors against Retool products
Support pen-testing and bug bounty programs
Deliver guidance and education on best security practices

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
