The Role

Sway is looking for a Senior Developer to bolster our team. In the senior developer role, you are expected to contribute to and direct the software development team in the development process. A key element of this role is possessing a deep understanding of coding languages and software development programs. Success in this position is demonstrated by the development of high-quality applications that fulfill user requirements. The ideal candidate should bring a robust background in AWS, Java Script & Type Script, Google Cloud Platform -  enhancing our platform's versatility and integration capabilities, with a strong emphasis on creating and maintaining CI/CD processes with AWS and GCP deployment processes and experience with serverless applications to build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, stellar communication skills for effective teamwork, and a keen eye for detail in coding and infrastructure design. You'll be expected to stay ahead of the curve on technological advancements and contribute innovative solutions. • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years professional experience in tech start up environment
• Preferred experience in the E-commerce industry with a retailer, carrier, API provider or E-Commerce software platform.
• Proven experience and strong backend knowledge, with a sturdy emphasis on AWS services, Type Script, Java Script, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, and server less applications.

• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on proactive communication and collaboration abilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
• Passionate about good solid code quality
• Self motivated and seeks work when they are free
