This position is needed to support the Global Revenue Accounting Team and cross functional business partners. This role will report to the <Manager of Revenue Accounting> and will work on all aspects of the revenue accounting process to ensure accurate and complete financial information. You will support the design and implementation of automated solutions to further scale and streamline revenue processes. This is a great role for someone excited and passionate about revenue accounting and contributing to the success of the team and company.
In this role, you'll:
Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis at month-end close for revenue related accounts
Support annual audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
Review contracts for non-standard deals to ensure revenue is properly treated
Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, revenue operations, and various business owners as needed to obtain needed supporting documentation
Identify process improvements and assist in automation efforts within the team and with business partners to drive efficiency initiatives within the quote to cash business cycle
Clearly and completely document all processes and procedures

Required:
A minimum of 2 years experience in revenue accounting or public accounting
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite, with the ability to navigate large data sets
Solid working knowledge in ASC 606
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate as part of a team
Desired:
CPA license
Experience with Salesforce, Zuora Billing, or Oracle ERP and ability to learn new systems quickly
Experience working for a fast-paced SaaS organization
This role will be remote in the USA but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.
