Revenue Accounting Analyst

• Ensure that commission data inputs and outputs are appropriately reviewed and approved to comply with SOX/ASC606 guidelines
• Work with our internal and external auditors for maintaining current and historical records for commission activity and related expense
• Coordinating the calculation of data to ensure that accounting accruals deadlines are accurately met
• Preparation and review of deferred bonus & commission data as required for SOX requirements
• Preparation and review of various internal audit tests to ensure commissions data is complete and accurate
• Work with our internal auditors and our Varicent developers to help create SOX controls and methods testing of those controls using Varicent data

Other Activities

• Developing sales performance and commission expense reports for management review
• Maintain global knowledge as to provide cover for other members of the team
• Working on ad-hoc projects as required within the Finance team

Minimum Requirements

• Expert in ASC606 compliance and accounting principles/guidelines
• HS Diploma or GED required

• Good team player that must be able to work a hybrid schedule (two days in office and three days remote)
• Experience of using the Varicent commission system
• Experience of using salesforce.com or similar sales management is highly desirable
• Familiarity with customer contracts and revenue recognition
