What You Will Do:

• Play a hands-on role in the worldwide revenue close processes to ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance with US GAAP and the Company’s revenue recognition policies (ASC 606)
• Month-end/quarterly close process: preparing and reviewing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, ensure compliance with internal controls surrounding revenue recognition to ensure accurate revenue reporting, preparing financial statements disclosures, prepare quarterly management reports including revenue analysis
• Manage Data flow system integrations between internal order management systems, revenue systems, and reporting systems
• Assist in providing support for annual audit
• Assist in non-standard complex revenue transactions: review sales contracts for potential revenue recognition issues and compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606)
• Assist in research and preparation of written technical accounting policies and positions on an as-needed basis for non-standard revenue transactions

What You Bring To Forescout:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting
• 5+ years’ experience in public accounting preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with ASC 606 and software revenue recognition preferred (RevPro, Oracle)
• Self-motivated with the ability to identify problems and provide solutions
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
