We’re looking for an amazing Analyst, Revenue Data Science to fill this role, which is based in our Santa Clarita office. You’ll be responsible for discovering profitable ideas from the reservation and customer data, collaborating with business units within the Commercial Department to implement data-science-driven solutions based on these ideas, and delivering significant improvement in revenues and profits. The person will be a trusted advisor to the business units on key strategies and systems on revenue forecasting, optimization, data science, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external data sources to generate ideas for innovative data science solutions with significant impact on business revenues and profits
• Prototype and evaluate the value of the ideas and present findings and recommendations to the business units
• Develop of the data science solutions and deliver the promised values
• Maintain and enhance the revenue management system (YODA)
• Maintain and enhance the existing data science solutions within the Commercial Department, including Passenger Revenue, Onboard Revenue, Marketing Planning, Marketing, and Sales.
• Present technical scientific material to non-technical audiences in a way that is meaningful and understandable to them.
• Introduce new tools developed by the Data Science Team to the business units and provide training

Requirements

• Data Science, Operations Research, Economics, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics; Advanced degree preferred
• Data Science experience applying research and other advanced methodologies to solve complex issues / business problems: 1 years
• Revenue Management, Forecasting, Optimization, Reporting: 1 years
• Statistical analysis and modeling: 1 years
• Python, R and SQL: 1 years
• Engaging internal business teams on medium to large-scale enterprise data science projects: 1 years

• Base Salary Range: $67,800.00 to $91,500.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
