Manager, Employee Experience and Engagement

Direct Report: You will report to the VP, Talent & Engagement.

Location: #LI-Hybrid / Los Angeles.

Work Arrangement: You will follow a hybrid work model, offering a balanced blend of remote and in-office work.

About The Role

  • Revolutionize and refine the ultimate experience and engagement strategy at Rexford, concocting groundbreaking ideas that speak to our diverse crew, ensuring our workplace vibe stays lively and full of zest.
  • Dream up fresh takes on our employee shout-outs, club gatherings, social soirees, and wellness escapades, injecting them with even more pizzazz. The groundwork's laid; now let's soar to new heights!
  • Step into the spotlight as the co-Captain of our ERGs, social scene, and RexForGood endeavors, orchestrating top-notch gatherings, managing the calendar like a pro, and making sure every RexConnex moment shines.
  • Fine-tune our ERGs to align with our DE&I journey, collaborating with the HR Director to push the envelope on inclusivity and belonging.
  • Lead the charge in putting on epic ERG events, like the legendary WIRE bash, fostering a culture of empowerment and unity among our crew.
  • Craft eye-catching visuals and captivating messages capture the spirit of Rexford, turning every interaction into a masterpiece.
  • Forge a tight-knit virtual community for our remote adventurers, ensuring they're just as connected and engaged as our in-office crew.
  • Elevate all internal happenings to meet—and surpass—our standards for fun and engagement.
  • Dream up and implement jaw-dropping programs that make working at Rexford an unforgettable journey.
  • Harness the power of data to fine-tune our offerings, improving and adding a sprinkle of magic along the way.
  • Lead the charge on cross-department collaborations, driving big-picture initiatives and steering the ship toward even greater heights.

About You

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in employee experience, events management, or a related people function.
  • Hold a college degree in marketing, communications, or human resources, bringing a solid foundation of knowledge to the table.
  • A track record leading projects in employee experience, engagement, journey management, organizational development, and human resources.
  • Experience utilizing different feedback channels, both qualitative and quantitative, to connect with employees, identify opportunities, address gaps, design solutions, and lead continuous improvements.
  • Someone, combining a doer's mindset with big-picture thinking, ensuring both strategic vision and practical execution in every endeavor.

Compensation

Rexford Industrial's total reward plan includes a premier benefits package, bonus eligibility, and long-term stock incentives. This role's expected annual salary range is $100,000 to $130,000, with a 10% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.* The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.

*These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date. Actual bonus and stock grants are discretionary based on company and/or individual performance determined by Rexford Industrial in its sole discretion, and the amount of any such bonus and/or stock grant may be less or more than the targets (and may be zero). You must remain employed through the payment date of any such bonus and/or vesting to be eligible for payment/vesting.
