POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role is located at Trinity Common in Brampton and will report to the Sr. Property Manager. This position provides administrative support and helps to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the properties.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collecting, reconciling, and entering monthly rents in Yardi;
  • Maintain and update tenant files, tenant/vendor insurance tracking, utility account tracking;
  • Collecting and entering monthly sales;
  • Preparing Lease Assignment documents;
  • Preparing Rental Assistance documents;
  • Prepare correspondence as necessary;
  • Assist in the preparation of service contracts, temporary lease contracts;
  • Assist in resolving tenant issues including reviewing tenant leases;
  • Provide additional assistance in resolving day-to-day issues as required;
  • Maintain accounting / invoicing procedures in conjunction with Head Office, including processing supplier invoices, entering purchase orders into Yardi, and preparing monthly tenant service invoices;
  • Actively participate in accounts receivable meetings with PM and AR Department ensuring action items are addressed and followed up on;
  • Collect and Co-ordinate all information for proposed assignment packages within the region;
  • Other duties / projects as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration or Business/Accounting;
  • 3 years of previous relevant experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable;
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience in Real Estate and/or Property Management;
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
