Position Overview:
RIVA Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to support our HHS FMP program which is part of our web-modernization portfolio. This person will be both analytical and strategic. They will be expected to be "data driven" with the ability to consume and digest information making it highly visible to a variety of stakeholders. This is a high growth opportunity and the person in this position should expect to be challenged as preparation to move to the next level in their career.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible to work with stakeholders to define, collect and prioritize requirements
· Responsible to work as liaison between Product Owner and Technical team to produce clear business and technical requirements and assist with Sprint development tasks
· Assist with creation of User Stories, Epics and process flows
· Perform manual testing of new software and assist with user acceptance testing
· Responsible for developing Job Aids, SOPs for new software functionality
· Responsible for developing training videos and conducting training sessions for end users
· Assist with developing test scripts, test result reports
· Assist with data processing tasks in financial system
· Support system integration, data transfer and error handling operations
Basic Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as Business Analyst and a Bachelor's Degree (experience in lieu of a degree may be considered)
· Strong experience writing User Stories
· Experience working with Agile teams, Scrum and Kanban Methodologies and ceremonies
· Hands on experience using Project Management tools such as JIRA
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to provide broad program support to include communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements
· Superior MS Office skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Salary Range: $90,000k - $115,000k
