As a Transaction Services Data Analytics Director at Riveron, you will participate in the creation of the strategic direction and drive the execution of data-driven insights for high-stakes transactions involving private equity and corporate clients. In this role, you will oversee the analysis of extensive and complex datasets, leveraging advanced technologies to identify critical trends and deliver high-impact recommendations that guide strategic decision-making through due diligence, post-deal optimization, and exit strategies. You will ensure that complex data is translated into clear, actionable insights for both clients and internal teams, supporting well-informed decision-making. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining and elevating service excellence, nurturing strong client relationships, developing teams and pursuing new business opportunities. In a rapidly evolving and competitive landscape, you will champion the integration of emerging technologies and industry innovations, enhancing our analytical capabilities and ensuring Riveron delivers transformative results throughout the deal lifecycle.Who You Are• Bachelor’s or master's in accounting, data science, data analytics, statistics, economics, or related field• CPA and/or audit experience preferred but not required• Minimum 10 years of total relevant experience involving a combination of financial due diligence for transaction services and data analytics• Minimum 5 years of transaction experience focused on quality of earnings, net working capital, and cash flows• Minimum 5 years of experience with one or a combination of the following:• Data Visualization Tools: Experience with D3.js , Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, or similar platforms.• Data Management: Proficiency in Hadoop, SQL, Alteryx, or comparable technologies.• Analytics Platforms: Knowledge of SAS, Azure, or related systems.• Statistical Software: Familiarity with SPSS, Minitab, or similar packages.• Programming Languages: Competence in Python, R, or other relevant languages.• You have a passion for developing and maintaining client relationships• You thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic work environment• You readily identify problems and instinctively look for solutions• You demonstrate analytical rigor and strong written and verbal communication skills• You have the ability and desire to travel as required based on client locationWhat You'll Do• Direct the use of advanced data management technologies (e.g., Alteryx, Hadoop, SQL) to develop and interpret complex datasets as input into detailed EBITDA analyses, net working capital evaluations, deal models and key financial metrics, driving strategic business decisions.• Utilize statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Minitab) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to oversee in-depth analysis and identify critical trends, risks, and opportunities within transaction data, shaping the strategic direction of projects.• Utilizing core accounting and financial due diligence skills, ensure all relevant data is reconciled or tied to key financial data of target companies, where and when possible.• Lead and facilitate high-level data-driven discussions in management meetings, translating complex data findings into actionable, strategic recommendations that influence due diligence and transaction planning.• Oversee the implementation and optimization of analytics platforms (e.g., SAS, Azure) throughout the transaction lifecycle, ensuring robust data-driven decision-making and aligning with organizational objectives.• Mentor and guide team members and cross-functional teams in advanced data analysis techniques, cultivating a culture of excellence and driving continuous improvement in analytical practices.• Spearhead the adoption of emerging technologies and industry trends to advance our data analytics capabilities, enhancing organizational performance and delivering transformative results for clients.$140,000 - $275,000 a yearThe expected pay range for this position is $140,000 - $275,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
