Why is this role important to Robin AI? At Robin AI, we create groundbreaking products that are transforming legal teams. To do this, we are growing our engineering team, and looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer. You'll join one of our product squads to build new features and improve existing workflows that change the way companies all over the world do deals. You will help us build software that will allow our customers to create contracts from a library of templates, and quickly review and edit contracts sent to them by counterparties. You’ll also help us develop our Word add which allows users to access our copilot right alongside their contracts. And you’ll help us build an intelligent contract repository that will help companies save thousands of hours searching for information trapped inside their contracts. We’ve already made great progress towards this product vision, but you will play a pivotal role in making it a reality.
Our Tech Stack All our frontend applications at Robin are built in an NX monorepo using the latest version of React with Typescript, functional components and hooks. We use Tailwind in our projects and are working on building a shared design system and component libraries to enable us to share code across products. We use Apollo GraphQL for communicating with our APIs and use automatically generated hooks to make these API requests. To ensure best practices and shared code across our product squads we meet fortnightly as a frontend chapter to discuss best practice and to continuously improve our approach.
What Are My Responsibilities ?
Contributing to Frontend development at Robin AI as part of one of our product squads. Making key design and implementation decisions, writing high-quality, well-tested code that solves challenging problems.
Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other teams across the business to create innovative new features.
Mentoring and coaching junior engineers in the frontend team, ensuring best practices are being followed.
Sharing your knowledge and experience with the frontend chapter to help define technical standards and approaches for frontend development at RobinAI.
Participating in the entire development process (design, development and deployment).
What about my skills?
Have demonstrable experience building React applications with Typescript/JavaScript.
Have an excellent knowledge of the building blocks of the web including: HTML, CSS and Browser API's.
Have experience in pursuing good engineering practices including: writing tests, participating in code reviews and using CI/CD.
Have a background working in a start-up or similar size organisation and are passionate about building high quality products.
Embrace challenge and find innovative solutions to create simple, yet effective customer interfaces.
Compensation at Robin AI
Salary: £95 - £110k
