Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer

Dechert, LLP is a global specialist law firm focused on high-end legal work. This position will join our growing Enterprise Intelligence team and will help implement process automation solutions for business functions and legal teams. This position requires a good understanding of robotic process automation (and particularly UiPath is a plus). The right person will be passionate about exploring all the possibilities that robotic process automation offers.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and write code using a modern OOP language (C#, or similar) with a understanding in programming, data structures, algorithms, databases and JavaScript.
  • Utilize Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and advanced analytics when applicable, to enhance automation projects.
  • Continuously research and stay up to date with RPA industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Work with a high degree of independence on projects, contributing to design, testing and implementation.
  • A continuous self-learner that stays up to date with technology and enjoys trying cutting edge projects.
  • Eagerness to try the next big technological development when it arrives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND INTERESTS:
  • Experience in programming languages like C#, ASP.Net.
  • Experience with JavaScript, or other scripting language.
  • Knowledge in RPA UiPath Development a plus.
  • Knowledge in Orchestrator, building attended and unattended bots a plus.
  • Knowledge in RPA solution delivery a plus.
  • Knowledge in other additional RPA tools a plus.
  • Knowledge with data manipulation and analytics using Alteryx a plus.
  • Database knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong technical mind-set, including problem solving, troubleshooting, logical reasoning.
  • Ability to learn new technology.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Approximately 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Computer Science Degree or development certification a plus.
PERSONAL CONTACTS:
Work independently or as a part of a team under general supervision. Expected to collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects.
