Sr. Backend (Java) Developer
Robots & Pencils is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in Java to contribute to client and internal projects in a remote-first environment.
Skills
- Proficient in Java 17 and API development
- Advanced SQL skills
- Familiarity with Redis and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Git and testing methodologies
- Understanding of microservices and data structures
Responsibilities
- Develop first-class software for client and internal products
- Build out mobile APIs and web applications for various clients
- Peer review team members' code and adapt based on feedback
- Support sales and project managers with technical insights
- Resolve issues and contribute innovative solutions
Education
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
