Combining that with the seamless integration of our capabilities in Roche Pharma and Roche Diagnostics, we are uniquely positioned to achieve medical breakthroughs for patients and society.With our global spread of research, diagnostics and pharma development, data analytics and genomic insight teams, we are all working to translate science and research into groundbreaking therapies and diagnostics.What You Will DoThe Business Finance of Roche Information Solutions (RIS) is responsible for supporting and guiding the RIS Customer Areas (CA) Leaders, Lifecycle Leaders and their organizations as enterprise business partners to achieve the goals of RIS and their CAs organization.Activities in this chapter aim to support the development of strategic direction, timely decision-making, and appropriate resource allocation for Customer Areas, Disease Areas, and Lifecycle Teams (LCTs) in order to ensure sustainable, long-term profitability and to create the highest value for customers, patients and society.The RIS Customer Areas are responsible for digital solutions for Lab and healthcare providers, clinicians, patients and in the future potentially payers.As the Finance Business Partner, Digital Health you will actively contribute to the creation and culture of the new RIS Finance model and seek opportunities to deliver the best experience to all partners across the CA and LCTs.Key Responsibilities :Drive profitability deep dives & segment reviews including divestment / restructuring decisions and be responsible for creation / challenge of Business & Investment casesEnable RIS portfolio decisions, support Lifecycle Team Portfolio management & prioritization (including budget allocation), as well as M&A, Partnering, licensing activities & decisionsProvide the Lifecycle and International business Teams with data-driven facts and requirement-oriented financial insights on key business topicsParticipate in respective governance committees and further support overall portfolio prioritization processesCapture business strategies value with up-to-date Business Plan and Business CasesStrive for consistency and efficiency across the Business Area and Customer Areas, by continuously finding opportunities to harmonize, pool and simplify finance processes while sustaining or improving the stakeholder experienceWho You AreBachelor's degree in Business Administration / Finance or in a related field; an advanced degree is highly preferred5 years of experience in the diagnostics or software development industry, or a related field across geographies, business functions and rolesProven track record in finance business partnering for global and local organizations and broad Finance knowledge with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skillsExperience with Software as a Service (SAAS) business models and knowledge of SaaS financial infrastructure revenue recognition guidelines, options and differentiation between services and R&D expenses, software capitalization requirements is a strong plusSelf-driven with a strong desire to experiment with new ways of working and pilot new areas and capabilitiesConceptual thinker yet pragmatic and solution-oriented, with strong business acumen and customer orientationStrong communication, negotiation and influencing skillsStrong appetite to understand, support and develop digital businesses, with deep understanding of associated business models, business performance, business and financial metrics and portfoliosWhat else do you have in your toolbox?You act as a empowered individual comfortable to lead from every seat in a self-aligned environmentYou are a growth-minded, relentless learner that finds accomplishment in dealing with complex issues and unexplored paths.You are an entrepreneur every day : Connecting the dots with a system perspective and an enterprise mindset in order to drive strategy and deliver business cases generating value for RocheYou are actively breaking down silos by forming networks and collaborate across and beyond the chapter and broader Finance organization to allocate resources to maximize outcomesThanks to your broad finance knowledge and business partnering experience, you can engage with stakeholders and manage their expectations as well as influence them and gain support for your ideasYou are aware of how your own behavior shapes the culture of the team and are committed to your own development through self-reflection and rely on the team to provide you with candid feedback.The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $107,400 - $199,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
