Sr. UX Designer (Denver-Area)

Location: Aurora, CO (onsite daily)

DoD Security Level Required: Must maintain an active TS/SCI clearance. Clearance may be applied for while working.

Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a Sr. UX Designer for an onsite role in Aurora, CO. This designer needs to have, or be able to obtain & maintain, an active TS/SCI clearance.

We are a small company dispersed across the US. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive. 

This role requires daily commute to Aurora, CO and obtaining/maintaining a TS/SCI clearance.

• You have 5+ years of experience in UX/UI Design.
• You are a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Holding an active TS clearance is a plus!
• You have experience working with Figma.
• You are a lifelong learner with the ability to learn complex knowledge quickly. 
• You have experience in complex app design. 
• You thrive in a fast-paced collaborative work environment. 
• You have the ability to communicate design decisions, and are proficient at delivering design specs that can be understood and executed by developers. 
• You have a portfolio or case study examples of your work and can discuss your design process during your interview.
• You are fearless in taking on new challenges. 
• You have the courage to ask questions when you’re lost in conversations with really smart experts (we’re talking Rocket Scientists).
