Position Description
In collaboration with the Regional Directors of Operations for California, the national Manager of Compliance,the food service vendors, the Waste Control and Compliance Manager will ensure our meal programs across the Bay Area are compliant with all Child Nutrition Program (CNP) guidelines and that our meal programs continue to be financially sustainable through monitoring food waste. This position will directly report to the Senior Director of Operations and Extended Learning. This is done through reviewing and approving meal orders, inspecting NSLP paperwork weekly, and monitoring consumption. This role also partners with school leaders to learn about the meal experience at the school and to support the resolution of any health inspection findings. This position will directly support and coach our Lead Servers at each of our 13 campuses: training them, coaching them on paperwork and processes, and collaborating with our meal vendors to resolve any issues with schools. Additionally, this role will be responsible for partnering with Rocketship National team to ensure timely submission and compliance of food service processes during state-led administrative review.
