About The Position

As the technical co-founder, you’ll build this solution from the ground up. The product you create will revolutionise recruitment, allowing startups to build winning teams, which accelerate technological innovation and push society forward.

What You’ll Bring To Rockstar Recruitment

  • You’ll use your 2+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer to design, develop, and maintain both the front-end and back-end of the web application.

  • You'll utilise your experience in building web applications to implement core functionalities, ensuring a seamless user experience.

  • You'll leverage your knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and scale the infrastructure efficiently, ensuring high availability and performance for a growing user base.

  • You'll utilise your relational database experience to design and manage the database schema for the application, storing and retrieving user data efficiently.

  • You'll collaborate effectively using Agile methodologies to plan, develop, and iterate on the application's functionalities, adapting to changing priorities and user feedback.

How You’ll Build The Next Generation of Recruitment Technology 

  • Experiment with new technologies and approaches.

  • Contribute to the company's long-term vision and strategic planning.

  • Design the architecture.

  • Define the product roadmap.

  • Build prototypes.

  • Build a robust and secure back-end infrastructure.

  • Use Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.

  1. What stage is Rockstar Recruitment at, and what is the current traction of the product?

    1. We are an early-stage startup, that has completed phase 1 of New Frontiers and applying for phase 2. We have a single feature MVP currently under development. We’re generating revenue from a concierge MVP. You’ll join from an early stage and shape the product from the ground up.

  2. What specific technologies are you considering using for the front-end and back-end development?

    1. As the technical co-founder, you’ll be given the freedom to choose what you’d like to work with.

  3. Do you have any established development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)?

    1. We believe in an Agile development approach that allows for flexibility and rapid iteration.

  4. Is there any existing codebase or prototype for the product?

    1. Currently, we have a high-level product concept and some initial wireframes. However, there's no functional codebase yet. This is your chance to be heavily involved in shaping the product architecture from the ground up.

  5. Is there a vesting schedule for the equity offered?

    1. Yes, there is a standard four-year vesting schedule for the equity offered with a 1-year cliff.
